Proving that wild felines are just giant cats, a man posted a video of an ordinary day with his two pet lions!

Hassan Alghamdi used his Instagram profile to share an impressive video. In the clip, he is seen sitting on the couch, when he is surprised by his pet lions, who jump on him and hug him as if they think they are just lap kittens.

“Normal day with lions,” says the text inserted in the video, which has already received over 5.5 million views, as well as over 130,000 likes and thousands of comments from internet users who were impressed by the scene.

“Post a video every day so we can be sure you’re still alive,” requested an Instagram user. “They want [to] eat you, but they are ashamed,” joked another. “If the dude stops posting, we all know why,” claimed a third internet user.

While some might be charmed by the idea of having a lion as a pet, the truth is they are wild animals inherently unsuitable for domestic life.

Lions are predators, so attempting to domesticate them goes against their own nature and can result in unpredictable and potentially dangerous behavior.
